Facilitated peer group development

The peer group format gives members a unique opportunity to benefit from the experiences and skills of the group, whose only agenda is to help and support each other. It provides space to work on their businesses rather than in them.

Members come from a wide range of non-competing organisations and together they gain:

  • Support to make better decisions
  • New ideas on how to develop their businesses
  • The benefit of a peer group – it is no longer lonely at the top!
  • Exposure to current thinking on relevant business-related topics
  • A network of contacts

Our main group meets six times a year for a day at Rudding Park, Harrogate and for 2012 we have a new group meeting at Carrwood Park, Leeds. The new group is aimed at the next generation of leaders.

As well as the main groups we run occasional series of special interest groups and in 2011 – 2012 we are running the Yorkshire Lawyer Leadership Group – for senior and managing partners in law firms who want to discuss the impact of the forthcoming radical shake-up in the provision of legal services.
